Background Screening

Background Screening is the process of looking up and compiling criminal records, commercial records, and past employment check records of an individual or an organization.

Why Background Screening?

You are known by the organization you keep. And an organization is known by the people it employs. Employee related frauds such as inflated salary slips, reliving letter, full and final settlement letter, offer letter, exaggerated past designations and false academic record can cause damage to the organization over and over while the employee is still in the organization.

Checks offered by ISO Consultancy:

  • Address Verification
  • Education Verification
  • Criminal Record
  • Employment Verification

  • Reduce the high cost of turnover by screening in employees who stay permanent.
  • Reduce losses from theft, fraud, drug and alcohol abuse, absenteeism, workplace violence, and litigation in the organisation.
  • Reduce training and employee development costs.
  • Increase productivity through hiring employees with better work habits, attitudes, policies, and practices.
  • Increase Applicant and New Hire Quality
  • Enhance professionalism by "screening in" appropriate workplace attitudes.
  • Meet regulatory, insurance, and customer requirements.

CE Mark

The letters "CE" are the abbreviation of French phrase "Conformité Européene" which literally means "European Conformity". The term initially used was "EC Mark" and it was officially replaced by "CE Marking“ in 1993.

"CE Marking" is now used in all EU official documents.

The CE Mark, which is affixed to a product or its packaging, is considered proof that a product has met the requirements of the harmonized European standard, or directive.

The European Commission, which administers the program, describes the CE Mark as a PERMIT for goods to be sold freely within the internal European market.

CE marking on a product indicates to all authorities that the product is in compliance with the essential health and safety requirements of all directives that apply to the product.

  1. The EU introduced the CE marking scheme to make trade easier and cheaper between EU countries.
  2. Regularly customers will look for CE marking on a product as an indication of conformance to laid down minimum standards, and therefore a minimum level of quality that other products may lack.
